Perfect place and great communication!

This was perfect for our guys Spring Fling Fandango. The property is well kept, was super clean and very close to the store and restaurants. Communication with the owners was great and friendly. Everything was better than advertised! Book without worry!

Angel Fire Multi Family Home

Clean, well stocked. Larger than pictures. 2 mins to base. We had a great time and the house was excellent. Firm foam beds, new bedding. Highly recommend for groups looking to have fun in Angel Fire.

We LOVED staying at this home for our annual Women’s Weekend at Angel Fire Mountain Bike Park!

The floor plan is so perfect, with everyone feeling they had their own private space as well as lovely shared spaces to lounge and connect.

The kitchen is open and bright; with excellent amenities for cooking. We made some beautiful meals here!

The location to town and the ski resort was perfect, being about 5 min away from most anything. But also felt remote and quiet, with a very nice outdoor space to enjoy.

Can’t say enough good things about this property! Thanks to Amy for helping me find the place when my Apple Maps wasn’t of any use. LOL!

We’ll be back!

Our vacation experience at Scissor Tailed Lodge was just AWESOME!!! We had 6 adults and 6 children, 12 and under. This place is newly built and is a quality build with a super open space layout, and the location is beautiful. Amy and Russ are so good to check-in and see if everything is going ok. The questions we had could have been avoided if I would have only read the information and instructions that were sent to us from the beginning. LOL. Just an awesome experience, you will not be disappointed.

What a beautiful place to stay! much more luxurious than we were expecting for our trip, the accommodations were great and the property the house sits on is breath taking. It's a short drive to the bike park, and it's rideable if you're in shape. if you're bringing bikes you should bring locks, we had a trailer so we just kept them in there but since there's no garage you'll have to figure out a way to store them. that being said, I feel like you could just leave your bike on the porch and be fine.

Scissor Tailed Lodge is an awesome place! We rented this home for a last trip of the biking season and we were not disappointed. Newly built house with a great design and finish out. Perfect for large groups looking to bike or ski and to have the option to entertain everyone with an open kitchen/living room layout. Cozy up inside with a fireplace and heater or enjoy an evening under the stars outside around a toasty fire pit. The property is on a great lot with the nature all around you. Communication with the hosts was friendly, precise and ready to answer any questions or deal with any issues. We didn’t experience any. Don’t hesitate to rent this home for your Angel Fire trip. When the biking season opens in 2023, Scissor Tailed Lodge will be at the top of our list! Thanks!

This place is fantastic! Beautiful lot situated in the trees, just a few minutes from the slopes. Easy to get to and from anything you need. The hosts are super friendly and the detailed instructions were so helpful. The house is what you would want if you were building your own, 3 masters with a huge loft for a bunch of kids. Appliances, decor, and the radiant heating make for a comfortable evening after a long day of skiing. Nobody wants for a thing while staying at the Scissor Tailed, not even the mule deer that graze through the yard or eat the chili peppers hanging on the porch. If you’re looking for quite right next to everything, you won’t be disappointed.

Our family just returned from a wonderful stay at Scissor Tailed Lodge. Comfortable and clean house, well stocked kitchen, beds comfortable, extra bathroom upstairs was a plus for four granddaughters. Family game night was a blast with games provided. The first morning we were visited by a small herd of deer at the back porch. Appreciated the owners texting to see if we needed anything.

We had 2 families (California & Oklahoma), totaling 10 people, that met at this home. The home was extremely convenient for the location for the activities we had planned (zipline, horseback riding, and white water rafting). This place was perfect for 3 couples and 5 teenagers. We had a great stay at this beautiful home. There was plenty of room for everyone, and the kids loved sleeping together in the loft. This a beautiful cabin! Very spacious for a big crowd, love that there is 5 full bathrooms! Only thing is they only provide white towels and there is a charge if you stain them so I recommend taking your own towels! Other than that will definitely book again and tell others!

It was 13 of us in this beautiful home & we fit perfectly!! We spent Thanksgiving there & visited Red River the next day. We woke up to a beautiful snowy landscape outside our windows. Deer came to visit & the kids were so excited. Host was responsive & very friendly!! The house itself is top notch!! It has everything you need!! This is a beautiful property in the perfect location for skiers. The kitchen had everything I needed to prepare all our meals. The beds were very comfortable and plentiful. Bathrooms met our needs. Love the modern yet cozy look and feel. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Hope to spend future vacations there. Highly recommend!!

We had a great time. The cabin is amazing for larger families and groups. The kids loved the upstairs, and it was great for them to have 2 bathrooms dedicated for them. King suites & private bathrooms were very nice. We definitely recommend this place for your stay. Owners were super nice and answered all of our questions and gave us pointers! We recently spent a week here. This was the perfect place for a family ski vacation. The 8 twin beds in the large loft were great for the grandkids. The downstairs suites were perfect for parents and grandparents. The spacious kitchen and dining area made family meals easy and enoyable. The backyard firepit was a popular place for Smores. The house feels secluded but is very convinient to the ski area. Several deer stop by regularly for a snack, carrots and apples work well! We can't wait to go back and have already booked for next year!

We absolutely loved our stay! The home was so beautiful and comfortable for our big family that we truly didn't spend much time outside of it. The yard was fenced in so our small kids could run and play and the home was situated up off the road so that we weren't worried about our kids being outside. The home is in the perfect location, right off the main road in town so we were very near grocery store and eateries. The kitchen was completely stocked and outfitted with everything we needed other than groceries! Amy was so sweet and checked in on us to make sure everything was going ok. We will be booking again!

We spent the better part of a week there with our kids and grandkids. It’s in a quiet neighborhood with lots of space. The birds, deer, and rabbits were enjoyable to watch as we relaxed on the back porch soaking up the mountain air. The house was set up perfectly to accommodate us all. A yummy gift bag was on the table with a sampling of local snacks and goodies, and each bedroom and bathroom were fully stocked. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen set up so well. We fixed all our meals while there and made good use of it. I would recommend this lovely get away to anyone!
